NATS REGISTRATION FOR INSTITUTIONS

Educational institutions, including universities and colleges, can register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal to facilitate apprenticeship opportunities for their students. This process helps connect graduating students with companies for practical training, enhancing their employability. 

Registration process for institutions 

1. Visit the NATS portal. Navigate to the portal's homepage.
2. Click "Register." Select your user category as "Institution."
3. Provide institution type. Fill in the required details about your institution (e.g., degree college, polytechnic).
4. Enter academic details. Supply information about the courses offered, including subject-wise intake details.
5. Submit address and contact details. Provide your institution's complete address. The provided email address is mandatory for all communication and will serve as your unique login ID.
6. Fill in details of key officials. Include contact information for designated officials, such as the Training and Placement Officer.
7. Review and submit. Check all the entered information for accuracy before submitting the form.
8. Get login credentials. After successful submission, the system will generate a username/user ID and password, which you can use to log in.
9. Await approval. The registration is sent to the regional Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) or Board of Practical Training (BOPT) for review and approval.
10. Login and use services. Once approved, you can log in to the portal to view scheduled activities and manage your students' apprenticeships.
